The Sony Xperia 5 V was seen in a massive video leak, and from that experience, we were able to glean a few essential pieces of information.

• The Xperia 5 V is a new tiny smartphone that is scheduled to be released by Sony before the end of the year. It will offer features that are comparable to those found on the Xperia 1, but at a price that is more wallet-friendly.
• According to a video that was discovered online, the next Xperia 5 V is going to sport a fresh new look, with two camera lenses that are both larger and more visible on the back of the device.
• The video also provides suggestions that the smartphone would be available in black, white, and blue color variants. Additionally, the video suggests that there will be a 3.5mm headphone socket on the device.

Although Sony only recently introduced the high-end Xperia 1 V mobile and the more affordable Xperia 10 V smartphone, it is highly unlikely that this will be the last time we hear anything from the business before the end of the year. If the patterns of prior releases are any indication, there is still another edition of the small Xperia 5 that will be released in the future.

The Xperia V is positioned between the Xperia 10 and the Xperia 1, and it has typically been the point of contention with Xperia smartphones. It provides many of the excellent features and a very comparable look to the Xperia 1, but it does it in a smaller format and at a price that is slightly cheaper.

It is not scheduled to be released for a few of months – typically, it is unveiled between the months of August and October – however there was a rather major video leak of the gadget which shows it out in all its glory, while also signaling a significant change for Sony’s small flagship camera.

The video, which appears to have been an advertisement for the unknown device, was uploaded to Reddit by JB2unique and is nearly a minute long. Android Authority was the one who discovered the video and publicized it.

The smartphone in the video appears to feature the same narrow and long-form factor observed on Sony’s Xperia phones ever since the original Xperia 1 was released in 2019. Additionally, the video reveals that the device’s sides are slender and flat.

However, in contrast to its forerunner, the Xperia 5 iV, the Xperia 5 V does not appear to be a reduced edition of the Xperia 1 V in terms of its physical appearance. Instead, it seems to have taken on a modern and updated appearance, particularly on the back where the surveillance cameras are located.

In place of the slender, pill-shaped camera cover with multiple lenses that both the Xperia 1 along with Xperia 5 smartphones have offered for the past few years, there are now two camera lenses that are significantly larger and more noticeable.

The initial thing to take note of is that there are just two lenses rather than three, which suggests that Sony is doing rid of one of the rear lenses seen on the Xperia 5, most likely the telephoto lens. Another factor to take into consideration is that the look of the device shown in the video represents a significant step forward for Sony, and we couldn’t be more excited about it.

Aside from that, the video reveals that the Xperia 5 V may have a 3.5mm headphone port on the top of the device. This is a feature that is exclusive to Sony since the company continues to use this technology even though many other companies have abandoned it.

Additionally, the device looks to be available in three different color options: white, blue, and black. We are prepared for the possibility of seeing IP ratings of 65 and 68, as well as USB-C and a battery of a size that is acceptable for its purpose.
